2011, the year of…

Rubix cubes, Arab spring, family visits, earthquakes and tsunamis, photograhping Jamie Oliver and the Food Revolution, Michael Pollan, Adele, married German men, lard, giving up Facebook for Lent, Vinoteque, birth certificates,  social psychology, Will & Kate, the return of Saturn, Oprah’s farewell, Vancouver riot and cleanup, being a stand-in for a movie I’m still not allowed to talk about, the Lord’s work, something like justice,  My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, Carmageddon, carb intolerance testing, wheat allergy, numbness & tingling, visual snow, asymptomatic tachycardia, conjunctivitis, prescription medication, urgent care, minute clinic, chiropractor, acupuncturist, 34 lbs., insomnia–lots of insomnia, being approached by a photographer on the street for an impromptu photo shoot

Canadian visitors, “Black & Tan,” Band of Horses, Occupy, Lisa Hannigan, Steve Jobs passing, car collisions, missing Vancouver terribly, second chances and spaghetti westerns, Misfits, Spy, The Only Way is Essex, (aka general anglophilia), Spotify, Skype and dream boards.

I’m ready for the miraculously magnificent.

About J.

A former twentysomething with a head full of curls and heart full of questions wondering: when we get to nirvana, will there be food?
