Easy guide to winter foods

An even easier way to stay in season–and local :)–is to join a CSA. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is basically a more direct farmers market. You pay the farmer a set fee and they provide you with a box of everything they’ve got growing at the moment.

This is the one I just joined. I get my first box this weekend. So excited!

Eating locally is so important and the number of CSAs has grown exponentially over the past 20 years. It’s encouraging that more and more people are increasing their food literacy.
