Let me just walk you through my eco-manic decision-making process

“Okay, these are both the same length. Great. The one on the left is $0.99; the one on the right is $1.99. Hmm. I don’t want to pay a dollar extra. Oh wait, the one on the left is the lick kind. Who wants to lick an envelope? Terrorists, probably. I don’t know. Anyway. Press-n-seal. I should get press-n-seal. Wait. That little strip that pulls off. That’s waste. Are those little strips recyclable? I don’t know. I never thought about that before. I don’t want to contribute ocean garbage patches!! Omg, those are so awful. Why don’t people care about anything?? WE ARE BREAKING THE OCEAN. 😦

But I really don’t want to lick an envelope.

I bet those strips are recyclable. I’ve seen stats that 80% of what Americans throw away is recyclable.

Okay.

Okay.

I feel okay about this. I think.”

This is approximately 3 minutes in a Target.
