I wanted to make buttermilk biscuits

But I have no butter so vanilla cinnamon drop biscuits happened instead.

1 c. AP flour (You can sub 1 c. self-rising flour and omit the salt and baking powder)
1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt (I think this is a little too much, esp. using coarse kosher salt. I’ll try 3/4 tsp next time.)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 packet vanilla cinnamon tea

2/3 cup heavy cream (recipe called for regular milk but I felt like experimenting)
1/3 cup grapeseed oil (you can sub butter)

Mix dry. Mix wet. Combine.

425-deg oven, 10 minutes.

Note: they will not expand, so the size you put them on your cookie sheet or cake pan is the size they will be when they’re done.
