I’ve got a few of them:
- Apply to be a nanny in Vancouver through the live-in caregiver program. Kids love me and it’s much easier to get a sponsor that way than through traditional employers.
- Go to grad school for environmental studies/sustainability. I get to work on saving the planet 🙂 while seeing the world AND get to take a break from paying back undergrad loans! Funny thing, when I first started looking for programs, the first one to come up was in Dundee, Scotland with the option to complete your second year in British Columbia.
- Take advantage of the American trainee in France program. I get to améliorer mon français and eat baguettes! Plus, being in Europe makes seeing the rest of Europe, especially considering how seriously the French take their holiday time, so much easier. My old French teacher was from Paris so maybe she could have insight for me on companies to look into and how to market myself to the the French.
And once something works out and I have some money:
I only have until I’m 30 for those though, so I’d better hurry up and figure out money. On the other hand, if I get into grad school, perhaps I can get known for my eco-awesomeness and be invited to come consult in these countries.
That’s it for now. I just need a little merde.
