My preserves taste great!!
I added 3 tbsp of cornstarch because I think my cooking technique wasn’t the best suited to the consistency I wanted but I am so happy with how they came out! They filled one standard mason jar and about 2/3 of a 10 oz. jar.
Now who wants to come make me some biscuits??!
I’ll make the biscuits (or at least pick them up from Honey’s) if you bring the preserves…and the sugar plum concoction you were working on…and the cheese and pesto from the farmers market—hey, do you want a job as a chef for a lovely family of four in Brentwood?
I am amenable to all of these things. 🙂
Though I think the bread needs a do over, not enough sugar in this batch. I still have like 7 plums though so I could totally make it again.
